There’s nothing like a live music performance, where you can take a break from the workweek, kick up your heels and feed your soul. Look below to find a variety of outdoor concerts this summer in Pure Ludington:
LIVE IN THE PLAZA
These open-air, acoustic concerts are held weekly at Legacy Plaza in Downtown Ludington. Grab takeout from an adjacent restaurant and take a seat in the plaza for an outdoor picnic and performance! Concerts are held from 5-8 p.m. Thursdays, June-September.
PURE LUDINGTON SUNSET BONFIRES
Three concerts at free community bonfires will be held this summer at Stearns Park Beach. Just bring a beach chair or blanket, relax in the sand and take in the sights and sounds. You might also enjoy a walk on the pier, beach volleyball or an evening swim. The bonfires begin at 8 p.m on June 24, July 22 and August 26.
LACA SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Each Wednesday evening at Waterfront Park, the Ludington Area Center for the Arts will bring you live music from a wide variety of eclectic artists from around the region. All concerts are free to the public (but donations are appreciated click here) and begin at 7 p.m. Check our Pure Ludington calendar for the weekly line-up here.
RHYTHM & DUNES
Free, outdoor community concerts, underwritten by West Shore Bank, have become a popular summertime activity at Waterfront Park. Don’t miss the July 24 beach party, featuring the Landsharks Band, playing a huge list of beach-themed favorites! These experienced and talented musicians have performed at Disney, numerous Super Bowls and were hired by Jimmy Buffett to be the house band at Margaritaville. July 31 is Retro 80’s Night, featuring the 80’s Mega Band! A popular group from the Detroit area, its mix of accurately replicated favorites of the ‘80s era and retro styling has made them a dominating force throughout Michigan. Get ready to rock to your favorite hits from the 80’s!
WSCC PERFORMING ARTS
Featuring a variety of renowned artists in numerous genres, the West Shore Community College Performing Arts Series always leaves audiences tapping their toes. In 2020, concerts moved to a virtual format, when audiences tuned in from their own living rooms! Watch for details on the 2021 schedule to come on the Pure Ludington website.
